A tool's parameter schema. The schema is genuinely open-ended (arbitrary JSON Schema authored by the tool), so it is one of the two `baml.json.json` escape hatches in this file — see `_prune_nulls`.

A tool's parameter schema. The schema is genuinely open-ended (arbitrary JSON Schema authored by the tool), so it is one of the two baml.json.json escape hatches in this file — see _prune_nulls.

The Converse wire key is json, but that name collides with pydantic.BaseModel.json in generated Python SDKs, so the field is schema with an explicit wire mapping (the same reserved-word pattern as the chat client's fn ↔ "function").
